If you travel to Colorado, do not forget to stop by Boulder and visit the facilities of Celestial Seasonings, the largest specialty hot teas manufacturer and marketer in the United States, and the one that makes the most delicious teas! You can look around the Tea Shop and Emporium and then have a lunch at the Celestial Café.
Once you get near the world of Celestial Seasonings, you will have the chance to see it, taste it, and smell it, taking one of their the guided tours. These tours are completely free, take about 45 minutes, and provide a sensational experience. You will start watching an introductory video in which you will learn about the Celestial Seasonings story from its roots to what it is now. Them you will walk through the facilities’ Art Gallery and view the original paintings of some of their unique tea boxes, made by the most famous painters.
Next, you can visit the assorted collection of very Celestial teacups and teapots, and then have the opportunity to taste the celebrated teas at the Tea Sampling. Afterwards, you may take a stroll and explore the beautiful garden of Celestial herbs growing in a charming setting. Then, look around the “rocking and rolling” factory and see for yourself the place where more than 8 million tea bags are produced each day. Finally, venture into the Mint Room, and discover the mind-clearing power of spearmint and peppermint.
